So I'd say I'm pretty good at a decent amount of stuff. Pogo-sticking, designing cutesy things, cooking, defensive driving, drawing hearts around Zachary Levi's name....you know....the usual suspects.

But there is one crafty achilles that sticks into my artistic heels every time....that Dipity kryptonite is knitting. Mutha effing knitting.

Not for lack of trying, either. I even have a knitting basket, about 32 skeins of yarn, 4 different needles (haha...I typed that as "kneedles" first) & even have attempted loom knitting....aka....cheating.

But I can't grasp it, my hands get all confused, my blood pressure rises & I ponder how long it would take the yarn ball to burst into satisfying flames if I lit the end currently knotted around my wrist & arm & elbow &....foot....what the.....???

Pyromaniac? Me? Nahhhh....

So this afternoon I caught a glimpse of the above knitted cuteness & thought....super awesome! I can DO THIS! I mean, how hard would that be, right? (a-hem....they actually used the term "elementary knitting skills" in the article.....taunting me!!)

Then I thought....super awesome! I can BUY THIS! I mean, how much safer would that be, right?
